Guwahati: Ayesha Rahman, currently in the 4th sem at Centre for Ecology, Environment and Sustainable Development at Tata Institute of Social Science (TISS), Guwahati, has been appointed as the International Reporter of the New York Times for Environment and Climate Change. She will be covering South Asia and Asia. Ayesha is from Guwahati from where she did her BA and MA. Dr. Shalini Sharma, Asst. Prof. and Chair, Centre for Ecology, Environment and Sustainable Development, TISS Guwahati said, this encourages us to keep the bar very high for our achievements and aspirations.
